How do I verify GetImage© (Image Interface) is working?

Verifying that GetImage© works:

1. In Windows™ Explorer, navigate to C:\CLT\LANDISC\IMAGE CONTROL or C:\CLT\VLANDISC
2. Right click LANDISC IMAGE INTERFACE.EXE or VISUAL LANDISC IMAGE INTERFACE.EXE and select CREATE SHORTCUT
3. Right click the new shortcut and select PROPERTIES
4. Add NEWTOWN B0301002 1 C:\TEST or C:\CLT\VLANDISC\NEWTOWN\NEWTOWN B0301002 1 C:\TEST to the TARGET and select OK
5. Double click the new shortcut
6. After a couple seconds:
   • If there are no messages, continue
   • If there are messages, contact Landisc™ Support with the first message that appears
7. Verify that you see an image of a house with a clothesline to the right by opening C:\TEST.JPG in Windows™ Explorer

Verifying that GetImage© works with your project:

1. Right click the new shortcut and select PROPERTIES
2. Change the target to ProjectName ParcelID 1 C:\TEST1 or PathAndProjectDatabase ParcelID 1 C:\TEST1 to the TARGET and select OK
3. Double click the new shortcut
4. After a couple seconds:
   • If there are no messages, continue
   • If there are messages, contact Landisc™ Support with the first message that appears
5. Verify that you see an image of a parcel from your Landisc™ project by opening C:\TEST1.JPG in Windows™ Explorer
6. If you see the image and there are no messages, GetImage© is working properly

Landisc EE specific instructions are in BLUE and Visual Landisc specific instructions are in RED

GetImage, Landisc Image Interface and Visual Landisc Image Interface, are now the same application. Based on the Project parameter, it will automatically access the proper Landisc database.
