Resetting Landisc EE© Application:
- To reset Landisc EE© back to a fresh installation:
- Within Windows Explorer, locate the actual application (not the shortcut!)
- Delete the applications' ini file (configuration settings)
- Navigate to your Windows directory and look for LOCAL.DBF
- Delete the LOCAL.DBF file
- Close Windows Explorer
- Open the Control Panel
- Double click BDE Administrator
- Select the DATABASES tab
- Search for NEWTOWN
- Right click NEWTOWN and select DELETE
- Search for your jurisdictions' name
- If it exists, right click it and select DELETE
- Close BDE Administrator
- Double click Add or Remove Programs
- Uninstall BDE Update 5.2.0.2
- Uninstall ALL Landisc applications
- Close the Control Panel
- Open the registry (if you are unfamiliar or you do not have local administrator rights for your machine, STOP HERE AND CONTACT YOUR IT DEPARTMENT)
- Delete the key hklm\software\borland
- Close the registry
- Restart Windows
- Reinstall your Landisc applications
- Reexecute your Landisc EE© application
- Select FILE|OPTIONS from the menu
- Click the magnifying glass button and then Create Project
- Enter the correct spelling of your project and then click OK
- Search for the main directory that your project is located, highlight it, and then click OK
- The application will now close and relaunch into your project
