How do I create a Network Place?

  1. In Windows Explorer, navigate to My Network Places
  2. In the right hand pane, double click Add Network Place
  3. Click Next
  4. Select Choose another network location and then click Next
  5. Type the IP address or Computer name into the Internet or network address box, another backslash, Landisc, and then click Next
  6. You may have to authenticate yourself in order to access the share. Type in your network user name and password. Be sure and select the Remember my password
  7. You can rename the network place or just leave it at the default name (recommended), then click Next
  8. If you would like to open the share when you are done leave the box checked, otherwise, uncheck the box and click Finish
